Asian Spicy Ponzu Sauce

Asian Spicy Ponzu Sauce

Once upon a time, I fell in love with restaurant Asian Spicy Ponzu Sauce. I figured out how to make my own that would curl my toes. I put it on everything…my potstickers, summer rolls, fried-rice and even Ben & Jerry’s ice cream. Wait…come on…are you kidding me? I’m not THAT insane! However, I am not above trying it!

I don’t know what it is about Asian food. It has held a special place in my heart ever since I was a little kiddo. My first experience with Asian cuisine was in the late 70’s. Although today, I would hardly call it Asian food because what it actually was was an Americanized version. The typical deep-fried orange chicken or beef broccoli was the usual meal I would receive. The only thing that stood out to me was the salty taste of soy sauce. I loved its savoriness and sharp qualities. I am happy to say, real authentic Asian food has graced us all with its presence and all is well in our kingdom of tasty things 🙂

This sauce also goes with recipe for Edamame Portobello Potstickers

Okay..The End!
